Hi, my name is Hans Christian and will take you through my career so far
in life. As a youth, I began to work early to earn my own money. Started with
summer jobs at the local farm and acquired early the ability to think
independently to carry out tasks while at the same time working in teams.
After graduating at Bodø VGS. I started working as an apprentice in a
small business that had been running for 6 years and started to grow in the
market. Throughout the apprenticeship, they have had a lot of different and
varied work from technical installations in fish farms to ordinary detached
houses and heat pump installations.
When finished with the apprenticeship, I
continued to work as an Electrician on various projects, including a 65-unit
seaside project with an including marina installation, and another new fish
farm project. After working for 3 years in the company I had been working with
since the start, it was acquired by one of the largest electro groups in the
Nordic region. In correlation with this we made a restructuring of the
resources in the company and I was given the responsibility as main-electrician
on one of the largest projects in the salten area in the last 10 years,

it was a
hotel with 250 guestrooms, conference facilities with several meeting rooms and
a big conference room that house up to about 400 people, As well as a lot of telephone exchange
systems and SD systems. This was a task that had a steep learning curve for me
personally when I was mostly responsible for forty electricians with
nationalities from all over the Nordic region and the Baltics. It was stated
early on that much of the communication on the site had to be in English to
avoid misunderstandings as the mix of nationalities that were from outside the
north was varied.

After this project, I have been working as an independent service electrician where I managed my own days and had all customer contact, both with private customers and business customers and did a lot of my own price estimates. Loved doing this for about two years and built up my own clientele
to thrive very well where I was and with what I was working on.
After this two-year period, I had some health problems which led to me not being able to work as an electrician, for this reason I completely stopped doing service jobs at customers and moved into an office on a permanent basis. There I have now entered the role of a Project Manager and now have the responsibility for the economy and resource management of staff in my own section of the company.
